Partnering with the FCTA Dept of Parks & Recreation & Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), we planted 70 trees at JSS, Karmo, Karmo village Cemetery and the Karmo Muslim praying ground.
The significant thing about these locations was that there wasn’t a single tree present in the JSS and at the Cemetery.
At PurpleHands Empowerment Initiative, it is not enough to plant trees, we ensured that the community understood the importance of planting trees and more importantly nurturing the trees.
